ABOUT VALTERS

Gatis and his wife Peggy opened the doors of Valters Aviation in the fall of 2003. Gatis and Peggy love flying and meeting new people.  So opening an FBO made perfect sense.  Previously, Gatis owned a maintenance facility on the field, built in 1994.  He has been in the aviation maintenance business for nearly 20 years.  Valters Aviation still offers full service aircraft maintenance as well as flight training, a pilot shop, weather planning room, and pilot lounge.

Gatis and his family enjoy motorcycling and taking vacations.  Each year they try to make a trip somewhere on their bikes and have a little fun!
